Kristina Kolmar

Karen Joy. Prior to attending the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program at Algonquin College, Karen spent time as a nanny for two small boys. After completing the ECE program, Karen worked in a childcare centre for several years, where she forged many fond memories. Following the birth of her son, Karen managed a successful daycare for three years, and then worked in several daycare centres and nursery schools. Prior to joining with Stepping Stones Nursery School, Karen worked at the Busy Beez Nursery School in the same location, and joined as a partner when the location became Stepping Stones Nursery School. Karen is a warm and nurturing teacher, and an asset to any program.

Kristina Kolmar Kristina is a recent graduate of the Early Childhood Education program at Algonquin college, graduating with Honours in 2010. As a part of the ECE program, Kristina completed her first placement at the Stepping Stones Nursery School, where she had a wonderful experience. Following the completion of her program, Kristina found an opportunity to become involved in Stepping Stones Nursery School as a partner. Kristina brings a new perspective and another warm presence to the nursery school.

opens a mind,

... My daughter was given plenty of opportunity to take part in activities such as painting, playing with blocks, using her imagination in dramatic play, and looking at books... I was able to drop her off each day with confidence that she was safe, happy, challenged and excited about learning.

... I would highly recommend Stepping Stones Nursery School..."
